Season Four is the fourth and final season of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy, which was confirmed on August 25, 2022.[2] It began production in February 2023, and ended in May that same year. Additional production took place in November.[3]
The season was released on August 8th, 2024[4][2], and consists of 6 episodes, being the only season to have a low episode count.[1]
Premise[]
Season 3 ended with our heroes stepping into a brand-new timeline — one where they were without powers, missing a few siblings and already under the watchful eye of their father. This new timeline has been dictated by Hargreeves, but because of Allison’s actions, he didn’t get to finish what he started.
So, the siblings losing their powers isn’t going to be the only oddity in this timeline. There are new enemies who want to see them wiped out of existence, but how do they manage without their powers? Is there even a way to get them back?[5]

- It is confirmed that Sparrow Ben is in the Season 3 post-credit scene. It is also said that Ben has a reason to be there and the answer will be in this season.[5]
- The title of the first episode was confirmed by Steve Blackman, Showrunner of TUA. He posted a picture on his Instagram account of the script (episode 401) on November 4th, 2022.
- Unlike the previous seasons, this season only contained 6 episodes, instead of the usual 10.
