Emily Piggford is a Canadian Screen Award nominated actress, born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, of an ethnic Japanese mother and a father of British heritage. She grew up on a farm by the sea in East Sooke, British Columbia, finding her passion for acting at the age of 11 when she took to the stage. She portrays Helen Cho, the violin first chair of the orchestra Viktor Hargreeves is part of.
