Elliott Gussman was the owner of a television store in the 1960s, and a close acquaintance of Number Five and eventually, the other members of the Umbrella Academy.

Biography

Elliott watched all of the members of the Umbrella Academy arrive throughout the 1960s in Dallas, Texas. He took photographs of them and monitored them, initially believing them to be aliens.

Eventually, he became a close acquaintance of Number Five and Diego. This was later expanded to the other members of the Umbrella Academy. After Five became more involved in his attempts to meddle with the timeline, the Swedes were sent to resolve the issue. Unable to find Five, the Swedes tortured and killed Elliott, much to Five's dismay.

Personality

Elliott was shown to be kind and caring, and took in all of the members of the Academy, without return or reward. He was willing to keep their secret, despite being tortured by the Swedes, further highlighting his loyalty.
