The user of this ability has the tentacles of an Eldritch and can easily hide them in plain sight. This ability is possessed by both Bens from the Umbrella and Sparrow timelines.
Overview[]
They are able to summon the tentacles from oneself (usually the stomach or chest) and use the tentacles as if they were a normal body part, and can feel pain should they feel injury from the tentacles. The tentacles appear to be stored in a separate dimension within the users body, as the tentacles come out of Ben's body without penetrating his clothing, indicating that the power doesn't literally come from within the user.

Umbrella Ben[]
Ben can summon eldritch tentacles from a portal in his stomach. He is able to use them even when dead, with the aid of Klaus. The tentacles are incredibly strong, as they were capable of massacring bank robbers, Commission soldiers, and lift Soviet soldiers, even as a child. While Ben is capable of controlling these tentacles, he seems to lack primary control over the power, as they are constantly waving uncontrollably all over the place.
Sparrow Ben[]
Unlike his Umbrella counterpart, this Ben seems to have a much finer control over his powers, mostly due to additional years of training. As such, he is able use them with a much finer degree of control, as he can fire them with pinpoint precision, use them as whips and additional limbs, and ensnare and hold down individuals. They possess the same amount of strength as Umbrella Ben's, as while ensnaring Jayme, cracking sounds can be heard. However, even four of Ben's tentacles aren't strong enough to hold down a guardian, and were easily cut by its blade. The tentacles appear to be connected to Ben, as injuring them injures him.
Uses[]
- In We Only See Each Other at Weddings and Funerals, Ben used the ability in a flashback to kill some bank robbers, though they were obscured in another room.[1]
- In I Heard a Rumor, Allison mentioned to Claire that during a museum robbery, Ben subdued four robbers with his tentacles.[2]
- In The White Violin, upon being summoned by Klaus, Ben used his tentacles to briefly kill the Commission Assassins attacking the academy.[3]
- In Right Back Where We Started, during the 1963 apocalypse, Ben was shown attacking some Soviet soldiers with the ability due to Klaus' aid.[4]
- In Meet the Family Sparrow Ben was first using a tentacle to pour a drink. Later during the Umbrella and Sparrow fight, Ben tried to fire some of his tentacles at Five, but missed each time. He was then shown holding Klaus up using a tentacle.[5]
- In World's Biggest Ball of Twine, just as Luther was about to leave, Ben held him down using a tentacle.[6]
- In Marigold, during a sparring session with Jayme in 2014, Ben uses his tentacles to attack her. He manages to ensnare her, but she escapes upon stabbing his tentacle with a piece of wood.[7]
- In Oblivion, Ben raised himself with his tentacles before using them to hold down the guardian, but failed as it cut itself free.[8]
