The Conveyance of Allison to 1961 is an event that occurred in The Umbrella Academy series. To revert and prevent the First Apocalypse from happening, Five and his silbings attempt to travel back in time to when Vanya was a child. But because Five is not well-trained in time-traveling, each of the siblings were scattered throughout the 1960's. Allison got stuck in 1961.

Background

Vanya's Confinement

After Vanya had sliced Allison's throat with her energy-surged bow, Allison was brought to the Academy. Vanya felt very guilty and came to the academy as soon as she could, only to be met by a fearful Luther. Vanya begged Luther to let her see Allison. Luther retorted by embracing her and depriving her of oxygen until she passed out in his arms. Vanya was soon locked up in a confinement cell, and while her siblings tried to reason with Luther, he refused to let her out. They left her alone, while she kept repeating "I'm sorry" to Allison. When Vanya was in the cell, she saw the reflection of her younger self and ruminated about the times when she was experimented on. Vanya started crying, repeating that she couldn't breathe in the cell. Her younger self told her to do something about it. With that reply Vanya absorbed the ambient sound, and used her abilities to escape the cell, and brig down the manor.

First Apocalypse

After Vanya is fully in control of her powers, she prepares for her final performance. She goes home and gets ready for her concert, then travels to the Icarus Theatre. The concert begins and Vanya plays beautifully. Unknown to Vanya, her siblings have come to stop her as they have realized that she is the cause of the apocalypse. As Vanya plays, she see Allison in the crowd. They see each other and smile. Allison wants to try talking to Vanya, but Luther and Diego use it as a distraction and charge Vanya. With a sweep of her violin bow, she unleashes a wave of energy that knocks them flying. The crowd flees and the orchestra try to do the same. Vanya uses her powers to keep them playing.

Event

Traveling to the 1960's

Allison recognizes that Vanya's violin is her lightning rod, and they might have a chance if they get it away from her. Armed gunmen burst into the Theatre and try to kill the Umbrella Academy and stop them from preventing the apocalypse. The orchestra flees but Vanya keeps playing. The Academy fights back, with Klaus able to manifest Ben's spirit into the real world to deal with the gunmen. As Vanya continues to play, Luther, Diego, Klaus and Five decide that if they rush her one of them might get through to stop her. Their plan fails when Vanya uses her power to suspend them all in the air, connected to her through energy tendrils and draining the life from them.

Behind Vanya, Allison aims a gun at her head. Instead of shooting her, Allison places the gun next to her ear and fires, disrupting her power. Vanya releases her brothers, and a lance of energy burst from her body and streaks through the roof of the Theatre, striking the moon. The moon begins to break apart. The pieces crash into earth, destroying homes, oceans, and landscapes. Five and the rest of the members travel back in time in the final moments.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of Five's training, the siblings got separated throughout the timeline.

Aftermath

When Five transports all of the Umbrella Academy back in time to avert the apocalypse, Allison finds herself in Dallas, 1961, at the height of the American Civil Rights Movement. She quickly stumbles upon Odessa's salon, where she begins working shortly after.

She quickly becomes an integral part of the movement, and years later in 1963, Allison is an integral part of the sit-in before the arrival of JFK in an attempt to gauge the attention of the media. The sit in is initially a failure, and Allison, along with her husband, Raymond Chestnut, are escorted off the premises by the police. She forms a stable and close relationship with Raymond, that is, until her siblings arrive.
