The assassination of The Handler is an an event that occurred on The Umbrella Academy.
Background[]
Seeing Harlan[]
After seeing Harlan create an outburst of energy on the Infinite Switchboard. The Handler and Lila gather most of the Temps Commission and head to Sissy's barn.
The Battle[]
The Umbrella Acadmey arrives at the barn as well. Diego and Five negotiate with The Handler, but she refuses to play nice. She drops a handkerchief which initiates a fire from Temps Commission agents. Vanya is forced to user her abilities to save her family and kills hundreds of Temps Commission agents in one blast. Lila goes after Five but his siblings interfere. Lila eventually gets to Five, mimicking almost everyone's abilities.
Assassination[]
The siblings figure out that Lila is one of them. They explain that she is one of the children born with powers like they are, and that The Handler is using her. The Handler interferes, killing all the siblings. She asks Lila to come back with her, but Lila refuses. The Handler kills Lila as well. But Five travels back almost a whole minute or two in time and reverses the damage done by The Handler. The Handler is killed off by Axel, one of The Swedes.
