Abhijat is the servant and assistant of Sir Reginald Hargreeves and the family, while also a pilot for The Minerva. Very little is known about him.
Biography[]
Abhijat served as Sir Reginald Hargreeves' bodyguard. When forty-three babies were born at precisely the same time across the world to woman with no previous signs of pregnancy, Hargreeves set out to collect as many of them as he could. His faithful bodyguard, Abhijat, accompanied him in his quest aboard The Minerva. Hargreeves gathered seven of the children and held a press conference in Stockholm to announce that he had adopted them to save the world. Abhijat was present at the press conference.[1]
Ten years later, the children of The Umbrella Academy made their first public appearance since the press conference as they used their powers to stop the Zombie-Robot Gustave Eiffel. During the mission, Abhijat piloted The Minerva high over the city of Paris.[1]
Twenty years later, when Spaceboy arrived at the Academy after learning about the death of Sir Reginald Hargreeves, Abhijat mournfully greeted him at the door.[1] He later attended Sir Reginald's funeral in the grounds of The Umbrella Academy.[2]
