Omg.

That doesn't... the adult versions being in the 60s doesn't change where the babies are???
If you think about it that way.
Equally, from a psychological perspective, they used that romance as an escape from the psychological and physical torture their "father" put them both and their other siblings through. They relate to each other because they both know what it's like to experience that pain, and as such they are attracted to that. After that they talk more and more until they begin to be attracted to each others personality.
I'm pretty sure in the comics it was either the milisecond they were born or the order in which he got them
For me the worst moment was Hazel's death. It just hurt so much to see
Omg I cried immediately! Hearing Hazel talk about Agnes, the love of his life dieing of cancer, then when he died I genuinely screamed? he was my favourite character and he deserved a happy ending, not what he got?
Wish granted but his siblings avoid him indefinitely.
I wish I lived the life five lived
Nah, it's just funny. My favourite post is five walking on and just saying "this isnt my fault, timetravel is a mess... that's it" and walking off?
Vanya does that because her powers allow her to convert sound waves into energy. In that moment it became electromagnetic energy, bending the lampposts and causing meteorological change (changes in the weather)
He is called the boy because of his age regression when he time travels back to stop the apocalypse. Diego is the kraken because he can hold his breath, klaus is the seance because, quite interestingly, in the comics he's telekinetic I think so shit floats, luther and allison is somewhat self explanatory, ben is the monster or the beast or something because of the creature in his chest, and finally, vanya is the white violin because she... turns into a white violin? I'm not sure wtf is going in there but yeah...
I'm not sure how many people agree with this, but in my opinion hazel and agnes' relationship is the most wholesome thing in the Umbrella Academy. Hazel used to be a time travelling hitman but even after finding out and almost dieing because of it, agnes is just like "everyone has a past :)" it's so wholesome. I also feel for hazel in the scene when he leaves the motel with cha cha screaming from inside that he's dead. I just kinda wanna give him a hug ?
Loads of theories, my personal favourite is that he just thinks he's better than the rest of his siblings by not having a name (we know they had names before he left because he called out for vanya, Ben and his dad in the apocalypse)
It answers so many questions if you look hard enough.
E.g. how Reginald knew about the apocalypse and about the kids and their powers (how he knew five could time travel)
So I rewatched it, it's not a specific kind of energy. She bends lampposts first, then moves things, and you cant melt a moon with kinetic energy. Vanya's power is converting sound waves into energy. We see electromagnetic energy, thermal energy and kinetic energy.
It's a joke between me and my friends, it's also just short for Reginald
So watching the S2 trailer I think we got the answer to how ol' reggie knew about the apocalypse. He actually meets the 7 before he adopts them so he has the date and that's probably how number 5 and Reginald knew 5 could time travel. We know he hasn't before the flashback because of his behaviour and that he is forced to practice spacial jumps first. The trailer actually answers so many questions about S1?
Correction:
Vanya's ability allows her to convert sound waves into kinetic energy that she can then control in a variety of ways, the way In which she controls it seeming to be dictated by her emotion or just impulse
I was rewatching the Umbrella Academy Netflix series, and I realized... five has figured out the trick to immortality! In the pilot he explicitly says, "my consciousness is 58" I might have the number wrong but he makes a point of saying his consciousness is the thing that's old and his body is exactly how it was when he was a child. So with that in mind if he were to stick to the calculation he used to get back (the faulty one) it would have the same effects every time and effectively keep him alive by renewing shows body! And to combat anyone who will try and argue that it's the same body just looking different, name one 58 year old who can survive being thrown back by an explosion, survive collapsing as much as him, the amount of alcohol he has, and almost bleeding out.
?Mind Blown?
