In the comic and the show, they say that 43 children were born with powers and out of those children, Hargreeves only adopted 7 of them. The comic also states that some of the kids did not survive after birth of were abandoned or put up for adoption. So that at least leaves a couple kids with powers still living.
Are there any references to the other kids and do we see any of them in the comic?

So, I just finished watching Season 1 on Netflix. I would just like to appreciate how much of a Mood Ben is! I absolutely love him! And I wish he had more screen time! Now that Klaus figured out ever more of what he is capable of, I really hope he has more screen time in Season 2! And the relationship between Ben and Klaus is so funny and pure! I... I love it!
